How to write persuasive essay

1. Start with an attention-grabbing introduction. Your introduction should draw the reader in and make them want to read more. Start with an interesting fact or statistic, a quote, a personal anecdote, or a thought-provoking question.

2. Clearly state your position. After you have grabbed the reader’s attention, it is important to clearly state your opinion on the issue. This should be done in the form of a thesis statement.

3. Provide evidence to support your argument. After you have stated your position, you must then provide evidence to support it. This can be done through research, personal experiences, or facts and statistics.

4. Address the opposition. It is important to acknowledge the opposing view and provide evidence as to why it is wrong. This will make your argument stronger and more convincing.

5. End with a strong conclusion. Your conclusion should be a summary of your main points and a restatement of your position. Make sure to leave the reader with something to think about.
