Rutgers college essay

When I was young, I was always curious about the world around me. I was fascinated by the way things worked and the way people interacted with each other. As I got older, I began to realize that my curiosity could be used to make a difference in the world. This realization eventually led me to pursue a college education at Rutgers University.

At Rutgers, I have found a place where I can use my curiosity and creativity to make a positive impact on the world. As a student in the School of Arts and Sciences, I have been able to explore a variety of disciplines, from psychology to computer science. I have also been able to take advantage of the many opportunities that Rutgers offers, such as internships, research opportunities, and study abroad programs. Through these experiences, I have been able to gain a better understanding of the world around me and develop my skills as an independent thinker.

In addition to the academic opportunities that Rutgers has provided me, I have also been able to take part in a variety of extracurricular activities. I am a member of the Rutgers Student Government, where I have held various positions, including Vice President and Treasurer. I am also a member of the Rutgers Debate Team, where I have been able to hone my public speaking and argumentation skills. Through these experiences, I have been able to develop my leadership skills and learn more about the world around me.

At Rutgers, I have also been able to make a positive impact on my community. I am a volunteer tutor at the local elementary school, where I help students with their homework and give them guidance and support. I am also a volunteer at the local animal shelter, where I help care for the animals and promote their adoption. Through these experiences, I have been able to make a difference in the lives of others and develop my sense of responsibility and compassion.
